This is my destroyed 1701-C model.
Since I built the Enterprise-C like it had just been commissioned and was fresh out of dry dock, I thought to myself why not make it look like from "Yesterdays Enterprise"? So I waited till 4th of July rolled around, I got some sparkelers since I read at some website (can't remember which one) that Micheal Okuda one of the guys who built the Enterprise-C model used sparklers to make the battle damage since the flame was just right. And I tried re-creating the damage. I left the flame of sparkler on a bit to long in some areas as you can see in the pics. The top part of the ship on the saucer section I used Chris Fords way of making the top part. But buttom I used actual pictures from the studio
model from a website... this website has tons of pictures for alot of the studio models. Very helpful for details.
But this took me a while to make the battle burns since it was hot as blazes out side on the day of the fourth of july of last year lol. Let me know what you think.
