Tim Roy's Vorcha

This is my version of the Klingon Vor'Cha class starship. It's an AMT/ERTL kit that I actually built about 6 years ago and just now decided that it was worth some film so that it could be posted. The paint scheme was derived from watching videos of Star Trek TNG.   I spent a GREAT deal of time with a toothpick painting the  fine details on this ship, especially the areas around the vents and  the battle bridge.

I think that the next time I get around to building this class of ship, I'll add dome lighting. All  those little white dots would do very well with a fiber optic kit. As it is, I used a tooth pick and a steady hand to just touch tiny drops of gloss white paint for the windows and I also used Tamiya color #X-27 for the clear parts of the warp engines.

If anyone is wondering about the Bird of Prey that managed to find it's way into "formation", it came from the three piece adversary kit that I threw together just to kill some time.  I was using it under the base of the Vor'Cha while I was taking  pictures of the Vorcha for this series. When it came time to put the image of the Vor'Cha on the final series of pictures I just decided to throw the B.O.P. in for fun.
