Steve Robson's Valley Forge

This is a model I made of the Valley Forge space freighter from the 1972 film "Siliet Running". I made a large number of changes to this design to reflect what I feel shown be a better working "real" ship. The model is made of balsa wood, cardboard, formed plastic domes, popsile sticks, a hotglue gun and bits of cars and tanks, just like the movie version. I made it much simplier then the movie version to give the feel of the ship. Still, a lot of time was spent on it to build it up.

Here are some up-dated and more creativly done pictures of the model in a design study page.
