Steve Gilles' Defiant

After collecting dust on my workbench for nearly a year, I finally got around to completing my nephew's model of the Defiant. He had assembled it, asked me to paint it for him. I started with a spray coat of flat light aircraft grey, then proceeded to hand paint the rest. To highlight the raised panel lines, I used a mechanical pencil, then finished off with a coat of clear satin to keep from smudging.  It will be taking it's place on his shelf next to the Ertl DS-9 I painted for him a couple of years back.
