Richard Piper's Sevans Movie Tardis |

The model was a piece of cake to put together. It's a case of adjoining the four side panels together with the corner
beams, knifing out the base and roof and affix the signs and decals. The body is primed with car spray paint from a British Ford Escort car (light blue funnily enough!) and then a darker blue was
painted on top using the old Humbrol paints. Once dry its a case of using the paintwork as a stress reliever! Give a good scratch to the top coat giving the lighter paint a little exposure
and generally knock it around! I used a dark brown oil paint wash diluted with meths and then covered the model.

I dabbed the residue with a paper towel and left the model to dry.
Small details of another light blue was added in small areas and a little rust added to the lock and handle. The windows are affixed from the rear and generally dirtied with glass paint and a smidge of Humbrol black. Both Tardis variants can be made from the type 40 associated with the first doctor and the more recent lighter blue version as seen with the 4th and 5th Doctor. The instructions were once again an excellent standard and a pleasure to build.

What Doctor Who model collection would be complete without the famous TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space) sitting
proudly next to your other models. This is another Sevans model I have completed and I will soon have built the full Doctor Who range. This model is perfect for the beginner as you can go
horrendiously wrong and no one can tell the difference. Richard Piper
