BuildEnterprise

Richard Deakins' Star Trek Models

The Reliant, the TOS Enterprise and the Enterprise B do not have base coats. Te colour of bare plastic is the base colour, due to that fact they were made on a bugdet.

Voyager was painted with 3 layers of a gloss white base coat. The nacelles are free moving for abjustment.

The Galor and the Bird of Prey are made painstakingly, each took 3 months to paint.

The Gallant class, the Delta Flyer and the "mini me" Voyager, were each snapp together kits. The B-17 is there by accident, straying in to the Star Trek universe for some unknown reason.

Here is some of my latest work. Starting at the top we got a Nebula Class model produced by TMLindsey and purchased from Starbase EV in Scotland.

Then we have the 2500th scale Enterprise B, nothing special, but now I have some "mini me" ships and it freaks me out.

Then we got the 2500th scale Enterprise C, again nothing special, straight out the box.

Now onto the bottom row, there you can see Twins, The first Enterprise E was built first and the second (un-named) Soverign was built later, I had time to practise.

Next along is the Space Boy Akira class, agian un-named, I was building that model for a friend of mine, he hasn't got it yet because he hasn't paid for it and I believe he's forgotten about it. Excellent!

And but not least, my British starship prototype, base on a World War 2 Lancaster Bomber. it still needs work but it's just a bit of fun.
