From Dave Metzner, the brand manager at Polar Lights, comes these first
photos of the Enterprise kit. These are "test shots" and do not yet feature all the details and texture the final model will have. The test shot is molded
in a couple different colors of gray, not the finished color.
Dave says, "The build up shown here is mostly glued together as the snap
attachment features are not all refined yet. Some fine detail engraving is not there yet but will be added in next test shot. Only one minor inaccuracy that
I can see, that being the deflector dish is to far away from the hull (an easy fix). I will be looking at it closer next week to be sure everything follows the
drawings that have been approved by Paramount."
