While the engines are not accurate, I tried to dress up the ERTL reissued kit with some small parts from the Monogram Voyager and the MPC TIE Interceptor snap kit. I also scratch built from accents from sheet styrene. The basecoat is Testors Flat Gull Gray. Detail colors are Testors Acryl Armor Sand, British Crimson, Light Sea Gray, Gunship Gray and Camo Gray. Also included are Bright Brass on the accents and inside ribbed areas. Touches of Dark and Euro Greens on the boom.

The Klingon insignia on the base is actually the base of the Polar Lights D7. I rarely use the bases that come with models. I like to make my own.
