Here are images of my finished Star Wars Episode II diorama of Slave One pursuing Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter through the asteroid field.

The backing and base are craft wood from my local AC Moore spray painted black and the starfield was painted on by hand last after all of the asteroids were glued on. The asteroid are made from Hydrocal by Woodland Scenics and painted using their Burnt Umber with touches of Testors Acryl Neutral Gray wash.

The models are both Fine Molds kits, the Slave I and the Jedi Starfighter. The Starfighter is attached to a wire that is inserted into the top of the asteroid to make it appear that he is flying over it.

The Slave I was my first attempt at airbrushing and I am very proud of how it came out. I added some weathering using both charcoal stick and dry brushing acrylic black paint.
