Return to CultTVman's Fantastic Modeling Return to Modeling Star Trek

BuildEnterprise
Phil Giunta's USS Eugene Wesley

I'd like to submit three images of my latest Trek model, the USS Eugene Wesley.

A tribute to Gene Roddenberry. It is an Enterprise-D that I finished just before Christmas. I left the molded color in place because I like that blue.

I used Model Master Armor Sand enamel for the lifeboats. Flat black and white acrylic for the windows. Insignia Red for the impulse engines and bussard collectors on the warp engines and True Blue Pearl for the warp engines sides. Shuttle bay doors were painted in Model Master aluminum. Touches of Intermediate Blue accent the model in various places.

It was custom decaled with decals created by JT Graphics.  I used Defiant-style Starfleet insignia because it is reminiscent of the original series.
