I have some pics of my Bird of Prey that I'd like to share. This is a AMT model of the Klingon Bird of Prey. It was built stock from the box. (I'm not that good at "kitbashing"). The overall body was painted Green Zinc Chromate. The upper and lower "wings" were painted with Insignia red. The Photon Torpedo tube is painted with Gunshipgray and the wing guns painted with Tamiya Gunmetal.The cloaking bar around the bridge area is model master rust.The warp core radiators are flat aluminum. The impulse engine was painted from the inside with insignia yellow and red, the outside with flat aluminum. I chose to have the wings in the "Attack" poistion. It just looks more menacing to me this way. |
