I am sending some pictures of the Cardassian warship. This time I made some special modifications in building this model.
First I installed bunch of red LEDs and light up weapons array.
Warp engines and other clear parts include triangle prism parts. Then installed jungle of fiber optics to light up the windows. After building the ship I applied putty to the joints of the kit to make them sharp. Then I applied flat black color all over the ship to protect the inner light. Then I applied white coat (Surfacer) and after drying the first white coat I started painting the ship. I used the videos and books for references when painting the model. For the last step I weathered the kit by using pastel colors (black, grey).
