Ken Meekin's McCoy

This is my model of Dr. McCoy (Lenny as my kids call him) from Star Trek. Fairly easy to put together and paint. I used a flat black on his pants and a semi-gloss blackon his boots. I tried a few different shades of blue on his shirt until I found one that I thought looked good (tamiya xf-18 medium blue). I used a few shades of flesh for the hands and face. Then I decided he looked too clean. I used a stencil brush and put a very small amount of black paint on it and gave him some razor stubble. Sounds goofy but I think  he looks a little more realistic. Hope you do as well!
