John Zizolfo's Enterprise D

This is straight from the box, no modifications whatsoever. Overall color is Camouflage Grey, aztec pattern hand painted (yes, hand painted!!) in Light Sea Grey. Window lit/dark  pattern is accurate to the 6 footer, within an uncalculated but acceptable margin of error. I used one of the first TNG magazines that Starlog put out for reference. One of  those early issues had an article about building the 6 footer, and among the pics were two shots of the blueprints with the windows colored in, indicating the pattern of lit/dark.  Between that and freeze framing the show, I think it's pretty damn close. The one pictured here was built several years ago and has since been sold, along with a lighted  version I custom built for someone else (long before the fiber optic kit) also done for profit. My current D uses the same Camo/Lt. Sea pattern, but has a slightly warmer tan color for the lifeboats.
