BuildEnterprise

John Davis' Deep Space Nine

The station was built stock and much to Ertl's credit builds up quite nicely as such.  The base color I used was Model Master Neutral Grey, with various other shades of grey for the details.  I used Testor's Rust for the brownish detailing and regular yellow for the inlaid detailing around the docking ring. The windows were dotted in using a toothpick loosely following the pattern given on the box-top photo. The Defiant is a Galoob Micro-Machine, which is almost perfect scale for the station. A fun kit to build and paint, and the size that it builds up to makes it an impressive display piece.
