here are some pix of a 1/24th scale MPC Knight Rider car I built 'way back in 1985 that some people may enjoy. It's built pretty much stock with a few slight modifications. I made the suspension work and made the front wheels steerable. I also replaced the sensor "eye" up front with a piece of card (I was never  adventurous enough to make the thing actually work, but I understand that some people have done this with electronics and some super-tiny LEDs!!). The model was sprayed with Testors Gloss Black from a spray  can (which photographs real nice!). I scuffed up the tires a bit with fine sandpaper to make them appear more realistic too.
