Jim Small's Raider

Jim says, " The Cylon raider is built pretty much stock with only a few slight mods. I  covered up the holes that launch the toy missiles, wrapped a thin line of styrene around the perimeter to give the illusion of a thinner wing (as the kit has the wings too thick and it was easier than trying to file down all that plastic!) and I redid the chintzy rear engines by filling in the space back there and substituting the square baffles with chrome truck wheels tinted transparent blue. (Hey don't laugh! It really looks good!)"

This shot of the Raider's back end shows the chrome wheels in back I subbed for the crappy rear engines the kit supplies.

The pictures were taken with a Canon Rebel XS SLR, then adjusted in Photoshop. I did not retouch the photos except for painting out unwanted backgrounds and adjusting brightness, contrast and so on. The models themselves were not altered for detailing.
