BuildEnterprise

Bob Swaim's Kazon Cruiser

Here are a couple of more ships I have built and modified.

The Lancer is a Kazon cruiser lightly modified.  I picked up two of these models very cheap. I really never liked the look of the ship with the post sticking off the front.  The ship reminded me of a outboard motor on a boat. I didn't like the color scheme either.  So I started putting the kit together and much to my surprise the front post was an attachment and the area it went on wasn't some big connecting piece but a molded diamond shape which looked like hull plating.  So I decided to change the paint colors and make yet another pirate ship.  I used a base coat of flat black then on the middle of the ship I used olive drab and the bottom I use flat light aircraft gray.  It kind of gave it a bass (fish) look to it.  Some how in the painting the black paint turn to hard little globs and so it has a textured look on the top part.

The Vindicator is a enterprise from the old 3 piece set cut down to a destroyer frame. It also like most ships I build is part of the pirate fleet hence the skull on the warp cell.
