BuildEnterprise
Barry Yoner's Nebula
bynebula1t

This is  my MacroTrek Nebula conversion, the one I did for the convention last July.  The model wasn't decalled at the time that  these pictures were taken. The colour is somewhat off to the actual model- while the patterning is very subtle in these pictures, the lifeboat covers and phaser collameter rings *really* stand out! I almost wish that the hull patterning was as subtle as that......

This is the last picture that I have for now. This is an upper forward shot of the ship, and this is the one where the lifeboat covers and phaser collamter ring really stand out! I like how the hull patterning looks so much more subtle than on my actual model- this was the effect that I had hoped to achieve originally, but time (among other factors)  prevented form working to achieve that look as I wanted to have

In case I havne't mentioned it earlier, the colours for this Nebula were obtained from building the Enterprise-D from the "Building Science Fiction Models" (from the Video  Workshop series of modeling videos), and were mixed using Testor Model Master paints, except for the hull base coat colour, which was Polly S Acrylic RLM 64 Blue. Future Next Gen Galaxy and derative models will have a more grey colour when I paint them!
