Andy Mihail's Kodiak Class

Here's some pics of my too long in coming kitbash of Jackill's Kodiak Class ship.  A project for a friend, he wanted it to look fairly spic-n-span, hence the non-weathering. The blue warp coils were done with wood dowel rods, trimmed & painted  to fit. Having a lower set was kind of interesting.

Kits & parts included in building the USS Phoenix are two Reliant kits, an Enterprise-A kit, a toy boat, a deodarant cap, an Enterprise-D kit deflector & a toy E-D deflector, DS9 kit parts, a sports bottle drink cap, safety caps for syringes, BIC pens, PVC pipe & of course loads of sheet, I-beam & rod styrene in various sizes. Decals were from various sources & the lettering for the Phoenix's name are 3/16" rub-on letters from Staples. It was all put together with Ambroid Pro Weld, Tenax, Zap-A-Gap & a little luck.  Not too bad for my first serious kitbash!
